To reach the René Magritte Museum by public transport, first take a train to Brussels North Station. From there, transfer to the Brussels metro system. Take Line 1 or 5 towards Gare de l'Ouest and get off at the Beekkant station. From Beekkant, you can catch bus number 49 which will take you directly to the Jette area. Get off at the 'Esseghem' bus stop and walk a short distance to Rue Esseghem 135.
