Car
From any location in the Flemish Ardennes, get onto the N60 road heading towards the E42 motorway. Follow signs for E42 towards Namur. Merge onto E42 and continue for approximately 40 kilometers. Take exit 14 towards Dinant and follow the signs to Dinant city center. Once in Dinant, follow the signs to 'Citadelle'. The citadel is located at Chem. de la Citadelle 1, 5500 Dinant. Parking is available nearby, but be prepared for possible parking fees.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, start by taking a train from any station in the Flemish Ardennes towards Dinant. The nearest major train stations are in Geraardsbergen or Oudenaarde. After arriving at Dinant Station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located just outside. Take Bus Line 12 towards 'Dinant - Citadelle'. The bus will take you directly to the Citadelle de Dinant. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may be limited on weekends and holidays. A single bus fare costs approximately €3.

Walking (from Dinant Station)
If you prefer to walk from Dinant Station, exit the station and head south on Rue de la Station. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Meuse. Turn left onto Rue de la Meuse and follow it along the river for about 1 kilometer. As you approach the center of Dinant, you will see signs for the Citadelle. Follow the signs uphill along Chem. de la Citadelle. The walk will take about 20-25 minutes and offers beautiful views of the river and surrounding area.
