From the Grote Markt, walk along Frederik de Merodestraat. The museum will be on your left. The walk is approximately 5 minutes. The inner garden and the courtyard of honor are accessible free of charge daily from 10 am to 5 pm.

Public Transport
Several buses stop near the Museum Hof van Busleyden. The closest bus stops are Biest (30 meters away) and Veemarkt (300 meters away). From Mechelen train station, take bus line 1, 2, 3, 4, 30 or 306 to one of the aforementioned stops. A single bus fare costs around €2.50. Alternatively, from Mechelen-Nekkerspoel station, it is about an 850m walk to the museum.

If arriving by car, take exit 9 (Mechelen-Noord) from the E19 highway. Parking is available in the Frederik de Merodestraat, or in the nearby Tinel or Veemarkt car parks (300 meters from the museum). Note that Sint Janstraat may not be entered by car between 11 AM and 6 PM. Parking rates in the red zone are €2.50 per hour. Parking at the Tinel or Veemarkt car parks costs approximately €2-3 per hour.
