Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, take the E411 motorway towards Namur. Exit at Dinant (exit 16) and follow the signs to Dinant. Once in the city, follow Rue de la Station and then take Chem. de la Citadelle towards the Citadelle de Dinant. There is parking available at the base of the citadel, but be mindful of any parking fees which may apply.

• Public Transportation (Train)

  To reach Dinant by train, take a train from Brussels Central Station or any major station in Flemish Brabant to Dinant Station. The journey typically takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Dinant Station, exit the station and walk towards Rue de la Station. Then, follow the signs to the Citadelle, which is about a 20-minute walk uphill. The scenic walk will take you through the charming streets of Dinant.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  You can also take a bus from nearby towns in Flemish Brabant to Dinant. Look for the bus line that connects to Dinant (check local schedules for the most current routes). Once you arrive at the Dinant bus station, follow Rue de la Station and walk up to Chem. de la Citadelle to reach the Citadelle de Dinant. The walk from the bus station will take approximately 20 minutes.
