Public Transport
From Genk Station, take Bus Line 34 towards Maastricht. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest timings. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the 'Maastricht Markt' stop. From the bus stop, walk towards the Markt square, then head southwest on Markt towards Sint Bernardusstraat. Continue straight until you reach Sint Bernardusstraat and turn left. Helpoort will be on your right at Sint Bernardusstraat 24b.
Walking
If you are starting from the center of Genk, head towards the Genk Station. Once at the station, exit and follow the signs for the bus terminal to catch a bus to Maastricht. Alternatively, you can walk to the bus terminal, which is about a 15-minute walk from the center. Upon reaching Maastricht, follow the bus instructions mentioned above to reach Helpoort.
Bicycle
You can rent a bicycle from one of the rental stations in Genk. Head towards the Maastricht route which is well-marked. It is approximately a 12-kilometer ride. Follow the bike lanes leading you towards the city of Maastricht. Upon reaching the city, navigate to Sint Bernardusstraat by heading towards the city center and following the signs for Helpoort, which is close to the center at Sint Bernardusstraat 24b.
