    If you are driving, start by getting onto the E313 motorway from your current location in Limburg. Follow signs for Hasselt and continue on the E313 for approximately 25 kilometers. Take the exit towards Hasselt and merge onto N80. Continue on N80 until you reach the roundabout at the intersection with Herkenrodeabdij. Take the first exit onto Herkenrodeabdij, and you will find Herkenrode Abbey at number 4 on your right. There is parking available near the abbey.

    To reach Herkenrode Abbey using public transport, head to the nearest train station in Limburg. Take a train towards Hasselt; trains are frequent and the journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Hasselt station, exit the station and locate the bus stop outside. Take bus number 5 or 6 towards Herkenrodeabdij. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the Herkenrodeabdij stop, and the abbey will be a short walk from there, located at Herkenrodeabdij 4.
