Start at the Genk train station. Exit the station and head southwest on 'Stationsstraat' towards 'Kerkstraat'. Continue straight until you reach 'Kerkstraat'. Turn right onto 'Kerkstraat' and walk until you reach the intersection with 'Bovenstraat'. Turn left at 'Bovenstraat' and continue straight. Follow 'Bovenstraat' as it merges into 'Zwartemolenstraat'. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach the bus stop 'Genk - Zwartemolen'. From here, take bus line 34 towards Hasselt. Get off at 'Hasselt - Kiewit'. Once you are off the bus, walk towards 'Hasselt - Kapel' and follow the signs to the city center. Continue straight until you reach 'Guido Gezellestraat'. The museum is located at number 2 on this street.

From Genk train station, head to the bus station located adjacent to the train station. Board the bus number 34 towards Hasselt. The journey will take approximately 25 minutes. Get off the bus at 'Hasselt - Kiewit'. After exiting the bus, follow the road signs to the city center. Walk straight ahead until you reach 'Guido Gezellestraat'. The Stadsmus is located at number 2 on this street.
