    From the Genk train station, take Bus Line 33 towards Maastricht. You will need to ride the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Margraten, Amerikaanse Begraafplaats' stop. From there, walk for about 5 minutes along the main road towards the entrance of the Netherlands American Cemetery, located at Amerikaanse Begraafplaats 1.

    Walking

    If you are in the center of Genk, you can walk to the train station (about 10-15 minutes). From Genk train station, follow the steps for public transport to reach the cemetery. If you prefer to walk, it will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to reach the cemetery directly. Head southwest on Spoorwegstraat, continue onto Lanklaarstraat, and follow signs towards Margraten until you arrive at the cemetery.

    Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle in Genk and head towards the direction of Margraten. Follow the cycling paths: take the route towards the Maas River, then continue along the river path towards Margraten. This route is scenic and will take you approximately 45 minutes. Once you reach Margraten, follow the signs to Amerikaanse Begraafplaats 1.
