Walking
From the center of Genk, start at the Genk train station (Station Genk). Exit the station and head east on Maastrichterstraat. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Luikersteenweg. Turn left onto Luikersteenweg and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. Once you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto the N2 road heading towards Maastricht. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will arrive at the border with the Netherlands. Continue straight for another 1.5 kilometers until you reach 6211 JH Maastricht. The Fons Olterdissen sculpture will be located in the center of Maastricht.

From the Genk city center, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located near the Genk train station. Take bus line 34 towards Maastricht. The journey will take around 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Maastricht, Markt.' From there, walk straight towards the main square (Markt), and you will find the Fons Olterdissen sculpture nearby. The walk from the bus stop to the sculpture should take approximately 5 minutes.
