From the city center of Ghent, start at the St. Peter's Square (Sint-Pietersplein) where the St. Peter's Church (Sint-Pieterskerk) is located. Head southwest towards the St. Peter's railway station (Sint-Pietersstation). From the station, take a train to Brussels Central Station (Brussel-Centraal). Once you arrive at Brussels Central Station, exit the station and walk towards the Grand Place (Grote Markt). The Brussels Town Hall is located directly at Grand Place 8, which is just a few minutes' walk from the station. You will see the impressive Town Hall on your left as you approach the square.

Make your way to the nearest tram stop in Ghent and take tram line 1 to the Ghent St. Peter's Station (Gent-Sint-Peters). From there, board a train heading to Brussels Central Station (Brussel-Centraal). After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at Brussels Central Station. Upon exiting the station, head towards the Grand Place (Grote Markt). The Brussels Town Hall is located at Grand Place 8, just a short walk from the station.
