Walking
Groot Vlaenderen is located on Vlamingstraat, a central street in Bruges, making it easily accessible on foot from most major landmarks. From the Markt (Market Square), walk southwest along Breidelstraat, then turn left onto Vlamingstraat. The bar will be on your right. The walk is approximately 5 minutes. No costs involved.
Public Transport
If arriving by train at Bruges Station, take bus line 1 or 2 to the 't Zand stop. From there, walk along Koning Albert I-laan towards the city center, turn right onto Vlamingstraat, and continue until you reach Groot Vlaenderen on the left. A single bus ticket costs €3.00 and is valid for 60 minutes. Alternatively, from the Stadsschouwburg bus stop, walk along Adriaan Willaertstraat, turn right onto Vlamingstraat, and the bar will be on your right.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber are readily available in Bruges. A taxi from Bruges Station to Groot Vlaenderen will cost approximately €10-€15, depending on traffic and the specific company. Simply provide the address, Vlamingstraat 94, to the driver.
Parking
If driving, parking is available in several underground garages near Groot Vlaenderen. Parking Centrum 't Zand is a convenient option, located a short walk away. Hourly rates range from €2.50 for the first hour to €5.50 for four hours. Evening rates (after 6 PM) are also available for around €3.00 until 7 AM. Street parking is also available but limited to a maximum of 4 hours and costs €2.50 for the first hour.
