Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from Ghent's city center (Korenmarkt), head southeast toward the St. Michael's Bridge. Cross the bridge and proceed straight onto Sint-Veerleplein. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Vlasmarkt, then turn left onto Vlasstraat. Follow Vlasstraat until it becomes Kortedagen, then take a right onto the Kouter, a large square. Walk past the opera house and continue onto the Koning Albertpark. Continue straight to the intersection with Charles de Kerchovelaan. Turn left onto Charles de Kerchovelaan, and Leopold Barracks will be on your right at number 189.
