From the center of Ghent, head towards Korenmarkt square. Once you reach Korenmarkt, you will see the iconic St. Nicholas' Church. Walk straight towards the church, and then take a left onto the Sint-Veerleplein. Continue walking straight until you reach the end of the square. You will see the Gravensteen Castle on your right. Keep walking straight, and you will enter a narrow street. Follow this street as it curves left and leads you towards the river. Cross the bridge over the river, and continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Zuid. From there, take a right turn, and continue walking until you reach the bus station. Take the bus that heads to Bruges, and get off at the main bus station in Bruges. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Oude Burg.
