Walking
If you are in the city center, head towards the Korenmarkt square. From Korenmarkt, walk down the Sint-Veerleplein and continue along the water of the Gravensteen castle. After you pass the castle, keep walking straight until you reach the end of the street, and you will find yourself at the entrance of Patershol, a charming neighborhood filled with narrow streets and historic buildings.
Tram
To reach Patershol by tram, locate the nearest tram stop, such as 'Korenmarkt'. Take tram line 1 or 4 towards 'Flanders Expo' or 'Zwijnaarde'. Get off at the next stop, 'Gravensteen' (approximately 3 minutes). From the tram stop, walk along the Gravensteen street towards the castle. Once at Gravensteen castle, continue walking straight to enter the Patershol neighborhood.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a nearby bike rental service. Start from the central area and head towards the Vlasmarkt. Follow the path along the canal, and then take the first right after you cross the bridge onto the Jan Breydelstraat. Continue straight for about 5 minutes, and you will enter the Patershol neighborhood, where you can explore its quaint streets and eateries.
