If you are in the center of Ghent, start at the St. Bavo's Cathedral (Sint-Baafs Cathedral) located at Sint-Baafsplein. From there, head southwest on Sint-Baafsplein towards the Korenmarkt. Continue straight onto the Volderstraat, which will eventually turn into the Groentenmarkt. Keep walking straight until you reach the junction with the Sint-Veerleplein. Turn right onto the Sint-Veerleplein and continue until you reach the bridge over the river. Cross the bridge and follow the road to the left, which leads to the main road to Bruges. Continue on this road for approximately 30-40 minutes until you reach the sign for Bruges. Potterierei is located at 8000 Bruges, just a short walk from the city center.

To get to Bruges from Ghent using public transport, head to the Ghent St. Peter's Station (Gent-Sint-Pieters). You can walk there from the city center or take a tram. Once at the station, purchase a ticket for Bruges (Brugge) at the ticket counter or using the automated machines. Board a train heading to Bruges, which typically departs every 30 minutes. The train journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Bruges train station, exit and follow the signs to the bus stop. Take bus number 1 or 13 towards the city center and get off at the 'Potterierei' stop. From there, it’s a short walk to the attraction located at 8000 Bruges.
