If you are starting from the city center, make your way to the 'Korenmarkt' square. From there, head east towards 'Sint-Baafsplein'. You will pass the Cathedral of Saint Bavo on your left. Continue walking straight until you reach 'Veldstraat', then turn right. Follow 'Veldstraat' until it leads you to 'Vrijdagmarkt'. Jacob van Artevelde's sculpture is located at Vrijdagmarkt 12, just a short walk from the square.

If you are further away, take tram line 1 or 24 towards 'Zwijnaarde' or 'Melle Leeuw' respectively. Get off at the 'Korenmarkt' stop. From there, walk east to 'Sint-Baafsplein' and continue as described previously, passing the Cathedral and turning right onto 'Veldstraat' until you reach 'Vrijdagmarkt'. The Jacob van Artevelde sculpture is located at number 12.

If you are cycling, head towards 'Sint-Pietersstation' and take 'Nederkouter' street until you reach 'Korenmarkt'.
