If you're starting from the historic center of Ghent, make your way to the Korenmarkt square. From there, head towards the Sint-Baafs Cathedral, which is located at Sint-Baafsplein. As you face the cathedral, the Belfry of Ghent will be directly to your right. It's just a short 5-minute walk from Korenmarkt, approximately 400 meters.

If you're further away, take tram line 1 or 4 towards 'Station' and get off at 'Korenmarkt' stop. From Korenmarkt, follow the previous instructions to reach the Belfry of Ghent. This tram ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on your starting point.

Walking from Gravensteen Castle
Starting from Gravensteen Castle, exit the castle and head south towards the Sint-Veerleplein. From there, continue on to Jan Breydelstraat and then take a left onto Sint-Baafsplein. The Belfry of Ghent is located right at this square. This route is around a 15-minute walk, approximately 1.2 kilometers.

If you're coming from Gent-Sint-Pieters railway station, exit the station and head to the bus stop. Take bus 38 or 39 towards 'Korenmarkt'. After arriving at Korenmarkt, walk towards Sint-Baafsplein as described earlier. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes, and then it's a 5-minute walk to the Belfry.
