From the city center (St. Bavo's Cathedral), walk towards the Korenmarkt square. Head southwest on Korenmarkt towards St. Nicholas' Church. Continue walking straight on the Sint-Veerleplein and then turn left onto the Hoogpoort street. Follow this street until you reach the Sint-Veerleplein. From there, continue on until you reach the Kouter square and take the first right onto the Kouterstraat. Walk straight until you reach the junction with the Kasteellaan, which leads you directly to Pl. du Petit Sablon.

Take Tram 1 from the 'Gent Dampoort' tram stop towards 'Gent Sint-Pieters'. Get off at the 'Kouter' tram stop. From there, walk towards the Kouter square, then follow the Kouterstraat straight ahead. Continue until you reach the junction with the Kasteellaan, which will lead you to Pl. du Petit Sablon.

If you are renting a bike, exit the rental shop and head towards the main road, the 'Veldstraat'. Turn left and follow the road until you reach the Kouter square.
