  • Public Transport

    From Ghent, walk to the nearest train station, Gent-Sint-Pieters. Take a train towards Brussels Central. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Brussels Central Station, exit the station and head towards the Rue du Marché aux Herbes by following the signs for 'City Center'. It’s a short 10-minute walk from the station. Head north on Rue de la Montagne, continue straight until you reach the Place de la Bourse, then turn left onto Rue du Marché aux Herbes. The Smurf Statue will be on your right.

  • Bus

    From Ghent, you can also take the bus. Head to the Gent, Korenmarkt bus stop and take bus number 100 or 200 towards Brussels. Get off at the Brussels, Gare Centrale stop. From there, exit the bus and walk towards Rue du Marché aux Herbes. This will take roughly 5 minutes. Walk straight down Rue du Marché aux Herbes, and you will see the Smurf Statue ahead.

  • Train and Tram

    Start at Gent-Sint-Pieters train station. Take a train to Brussels Central. After arriving, exit the station and look for tram line 1 or 5. Board the tram heading towards 'Gare du Nord' and get off at the 'Bourse' stop. Walk a few meters down Rue du Marché aux Herbes, and you will find the Smurf Statue on your right.
