From Hasselt, head to the Hasselt Central Bus Station (Stationstraat). Take bus line 34 towards Genk. The bus will take approximately 35 minutes to reach the Genk station. Once you arrive at Genk, transfer to bus line 16 towards Bokrijk. After about 15 minutes, get off at the 'Bokrijk' stop. The Bokrijk Open Air Museum is a short walk from the bus stop, following the signs towards Bokrijklaan 1.

From Hasselt train station, board a train towards Genk. The train journey takes about 20 minutes. Upon arrival at Genk train station, exit and head to the bus terminal located nearby. From there, catch bus line 16 towards Bokrijk. After a 15-minute ride, get off at the 'Bokrijk' stop. The museum is just a short walk from there, following the signs to Bokrijklaan 1.

The route is approximately 12 km and will take around 40-50 minutes. As you approach Genk, look for signs directing you to Bokrijk.
