Walk along the pedestrian area and continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the intersection with the Kuringersteenweg. From there, take the first exit onto Kuringersteenweg. Continue walking straight for about 2 kilometers. Once you reach the Herkenrodeabdij, you will find the entrance on your right at Herkenrodeabdij 4.

From Hasselt city center, head to the nearest bus stop, which is 'Hasselt, Stadhuis'. Take bus number 25 or 26 towards Kuringen. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop 'Herkenrodeabdij'. From the bus stop, walk about 200 meters north to reach the entrance at Herkenrodeabdij 4.
