    If you are in Hasselt city center, start at the main square, Grote Markt. Head south on Genkerstraat until you reach the intersection with Vismarkt. Turn left onto Vismarkt and continue straight until you reach the end of the street. At this point, you will see the entrance to the park, Park Hasselt. Enter the park and follow the path that leads you to the south exit. Once you exit the park, you will be on Slachthuiskaai. Turn left and walk along Slachthuiskaai for about 500 meters. Kanaalkom te Hasselt will be on your right at Slachthuiskaai 10.

    From the Hasselt train station, take bus line 1 or 2 towards 'Kuringen' or 'Hasselt, Ziekenhuis'. Get off at the stop 'Hasselt, Slachthuiskaai'.
