If you are in the city center of Hasselt, start at the main square, 'Grote Markt'. Head towards the east onto 'Steenweg' street. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the 'Hasselt Railway Station'. From there, take the train to Maastricht; trains run frequently and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Maastricht Station, exit the station and walk towards 'Bredestraat'. Continue straight for about 15 minutes until you reach 'Vrijthof'. The Museum aan het Vrijthof will be located at number 18, right on the square.

From Hasselt, make your way to the 'Hasselt Railway Station'. You can take bus line 1 or 2 from the city center to the station. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Maastricht. Board the train heading to Maastricht, and enjoy the scenic ride which takes around 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Maastricht Station, follow the signs to exit and walk towards 'Bredestraat'. Continue straight for about 15 minutes until you reach 'Vrijthof'. The Museum aan het Vrijthof is located at number 18, right on the square.
