From the central area of Liège, head towards the Liège-Guillemins train station. Once there, take the train to Maastricht. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 25-30 minutes. Once you arrive at Maastricht station, exit the station and walk to the bus stop located just outside. Take bus number 1 in the direction of 'Maastricht, Luikerweg' and get off at the stop 'Luikerweg, Maastricht'. The North Caves Maastricht Underground is a short walk from the bus stop, located at Luikerweg 80a. Follow the road straight for about 500 meters, and you will see the entrance to the caves on your right.

If you prefer to go directly to Maastricht without taking the train, you can take a bus from Liège to Maastricht. Start at the Liège bus station, and look for the bus heading to Maastricht. The bus ride takes approximately 40-50 minutes. Once you arrive at the Maastricht bus station, you can take a local bus (number 1) towards 'Maastricht, Luikerweg'. Get off at the stop 'Luikerweg, Maastricht'. From there, walk straight for about 500 meters to reach the North Caves Maastricht Underground, which will be on your right at Luikerweg 80a.
