Walking
From the central square in Hasselt, head towards the train station (Station Hasselt). Exit the square and walk straight along the street until you reach the station. Once at the station, take a train towards Liège (Gare de Liège-Guillemins). The journey takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at Liège, exit the station and follow the signs to the city center. Walk straight along the Avenue de la Gare, which will lead you to the Place du Vingt Août. The Théâtre de Liège is located at Pl. du Vingt Août 16, right on the square.
Public Transport
From Hasselt, make your way to the Hasselt train station. You can take bus line 1 or 3 from the city center to the station. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Liège. Board a train heading to Liège (Gare de Liège-Guillemins). After approximately 30 minutes, you'll arrive at Liège. Upon exiting the train station, follow the signs to the city center. Walk towards Avenue de la Gare, continue straight until you reach Place du Vingt Août. The Théâtre de Liège is located at Pl. du Vingt Août 16.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Hasselt. Start from the city center and head towards the bike path that leads to Liège. Follow the signs for Liège, which will direct you along the scenic route. This route takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you reach Liège, navigate towards the city center and look for Place du Vingt Août. The Théâtre de Liège will be at Pl. du Vingt Août 16.
