If you are in the city center of Hasselt, start at the main square (Grote Markt). Head south on Maastrichterstraat and continue straight. After about 500 meters, you will reach the intersection with Kapelstraat. Turn left onto Kapelstraat. Continue walking for about 300 meters. Virga-Jessebasiliek will be on your right. Look for the tall steeple, which is a prominent feature of the basilica.

From Hasselt train station, take bus line 2 towards Kiewit. Get off at the 'Hasselt Kapelstraat' stop, which is approximately a 10-minute ride. Once you exit the bus, walk a short distance down Kapelstraat, and you will find Virga-Jessebasiliek on your left. The basilica is easily recognizable due to its distinct architecture.

If you have rented a bicycle, start from the city center and head south on Maastrichterstraat. Continue straight, and at the major intersection, turn left onto Kapelstraat.
