Getting There

    From any location in Hesbaye, head toward the N40 road. Follow the signs for Namur/Dinant. Continue on N40 until you reach the junction with the N92, then take the N92 towards Dinant. After approximately 25 kilometers, you will arrive in Dinant. Once in Dinant, follow the directional signs for 'Citadelle'. You'll need to drive up Chem. de la Citadelle to reach the parking area near the entrance.

    If you are traveling by public transportation, take a train from any station in Hesbaye to Dinant station. Trains are frequent, and the journey usually takes about 30-60 minutes depending on your starting point. From Dinant station, exit and head towards the river. You can either walk (about 20 minutes) or take the funicular that ascends directly to the Citadelle. The funicular ride costs approximately €5 for a round trip.
