Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Hesbaye and head towards the N30 road. Follow the N30 north towards the E19 motorway. Merge onto the E19 motorway in the direction of Brussels. After approximately 30 km, take exit 26 toward Braine-l'Alleud. Continue on N5 for about 5 km, and then follow signs for Rte du Lion. The battlefield is located at Rte du Lion 1815, 1420 Braine-l'Alleud. There is usually free parking available near the site.

For public transportation, take a train from any train station in Hesbaye to Brussels-Midi station. From there, transfer to a train heading to Braine-l'Alleud station. The train journey typically takes about 30-40 minutes. Upon arrival at Braine-l'Alleud, exit the station and look for bus line 130 towards La Hulpe. Get off at the stop 'Rte du Lion' which is closest to the Waterloo Battlefield.
