Getting There

Bicycle
If you are in the center of Knokke-Heist, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops located near the train station or main square. Head south on the Zeedijk promenade, enjoying the view of the beach on your left. Continue cycling for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with the N34 road. Turn left onto the N34 and follow the signs for De Haan. After about 15 minutes of cycling, you will arrive at De Haan Beach, where you can park your bicycle at designated bike racks.

Public Transport
To get to De Haan Beach using public transport, walk to the nearest bus stop in Knokke-Heist. Take the bus number 44 or 47 towards De Haan. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'De Haan' bus stop, which is located just a short walk from the beach. From the bus stop, head east towards the coast, and you will see De Haan Beach straight ahead. Follow the path leading to the beach entrance.

If you prefer walking and are starting from the Knokke-Heist center, head south towards the beach. Walk along the Zeedijk promenade for about 4 kilometers. This picturesque walk will take you approximately 50 minutes. As you approach De Haan, you will see signs guiding you to the beach area. Upon reaching the beach, you can enjoy the lovely sandy shore and amenities available.
