Getting There

Walking

If you are in the city center of Ghent, start at the Korenmarkt square, a central point. From Korenmarkt, head towards the Sint-Niklaaskerk (St. Nicholas' Church) and take the street on the right side of the church, known as Sint-Baafsplein. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with the Veldstraat. Turn left onto Veldstraat and walk straight until you reach the tram stop called 'Gent - Sint-Pietersstation'. From here, take tram line 1 towards 'Brugge'. The tram ride will take you directly to Bruges, which is approximately a 30-minute journey. Get off at the 'Brugge' tram stop. After exiting the tram, walk straight onto 'Oude Burg' street, and then take a left onto 'Sint-Annaplein'. The Sint-Annakerk will be on your left at Sint-Annaplein 8.
Bus

From the central area of Ghent, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on 'Blandijnberg', close to the University. Take bus number 51 towards 'Brugge'. The bus ride will take you to Bruges in around 30 to 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the 'Brugge' bus station, exit the bus and head towards 'Korte Zilverstraat'. Continue walking until you reach 'Sint-Annaplein'. The Sint-Annakerk is located at Sint-Annaplein 8, which will be on your left.
Bicycle

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike at one of the many bike rental shops in Ghent. Head towards the 'Gravensteen' castle, then continue on the cycle path following the 'Lange Steenstraat'. Follow the signs for 'Brugge', which will lead you to the designated cycling paths. The ride to Bruges takes about 30 to 40 minutes. When you arrive in Bruges, keep cycling towards the center and follow the signs to 'Sint-Annaplein'. The church will be located at Sint-Annaplein 8.
