From the Knokke-Heist train station, exit onto Zeedijk and head west. Continue along Zeedijk until you reach the intersection with Oosteroever. Turn left onto Oosteroever and continue straight until you reach the beach promenade. Walk along the promenade towards Oostende. After about 5 km, you will arrive at Oostende. Continue onto Vlaanderenstraat. The James Ensor House will be on your left at number 29.

From Knokke-Heist, take the train from Knokke station to Oostende station. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Oostende station, exit and head towards the bus stop outside the station. Catch bus number 3 or 4 towards Oostende Oosteroever. Get off at the stop 'Vlaanderenstraat'. The James Ensor House is a short walk from the bus stop, located at Vlaanderenstraat 29.
