Walking
If you are starting from the Kortrijk train station, exit the station and head east on Stationsplein towards the main road, Doorniksewijk. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the main road, then turn left onto Doorniksewijk. Walk straight until you reach the bridge over the Leie River. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Leiestraat. Follow Leiestraat until you reach the intersection with the main square, where you will find the historic city center. From there, follow the signs to the bus terminal, and take bus number 5 towards Lille. After about 30-40 minutes, you will arrive at Lille. Once in Lille, head towards the city center and follow the signs to Place du Théâtre, where the Lille Opera is located. It will be a short walk from the bus stop.

Public Transport
From Kortrijk, make your way to the Kortrijk train station. Purchase a train ticket to Lille; trains run frequently throughout the day. Once on the train, it takes approximately 30 minutes to reach Lille. Upon arrival at Lille Flandres station, exit the train and head towards the city center. You can either walk, which will take about 15-20 minutes, or catch a local tram (Line 2) towards 'Lille Grand Palais'. Get off at 'République - Beaux Arts' tram stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Place du Théâtre where the Lille Opera is located.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the many bike rental stations in Kortrijk. Start your journey by following the bike path along the river Leie towards the town of Menen. Continue on the bike path until you cross into France and reach Lille. Once in Lille, follow the bike lanes towards the city center, heading towards Place du Théâtre. The Lille Opera will be prominently located in the square. Make sure to check the local bike regulations and bike lanes for a safe journey.
