Walking
From the Kortrijk train station, exit onto Stationsstraat. Turn right onto Voldersstraat and continue straight until you reach the main square, Grote Markt. Once at the square, head towards the west exit onto Burgstraat. Keep walking straight until you reach the bus station. From here, take the bus to Bruges, which should take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Bruges, walk towards Woensdagmarkt, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
Bicycle
From the center of Kortrijk, head north to the Kortrijk train station. Rent a bicycle at the station if you don’t have one. Follow the route along the canal, heading towards Bruges. The cycling path is well marked, and it will take you about an hour to reach Bruges. Once you arrive, park your bicycle at the designated bike parking area and walk to Woensdagmarkt, which is a short 5-minute walk from the nearest bike parking.
Public Transport
Begin at the Kortrijk train station. Purchase a ticket for Bruges at the ticket counter or machine. Board a train heading to Bruges; trains run frequently and the journey takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Bruges station, exit and take bus line 1 towards 'Brugge Centrum'. Get off at the stop labeled 'Burg' and from there, it's a 5-minute walk to Woensdagmarkt. Follow the signs pointing towards the Markt square, and Woensdagmarkt will be just a couple of blocks away.
