    Getting There

    Walking

    From the center of Kortrijk, head to the Kortrijk train station located at Stationsplein. Once there, take a train to Ieper (Ypres). The train journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Ieper train station, exit the station and turn left onto Ieperstraat. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Menenstraat. The Menin Gate will be located on your left after about a 15-minute walk.

    Bus

    From the Kortrijk city center, locate the nearest bus stop that serves the route to Ieper. Board the bus that has a route to Ieper (check for signs indicating 'Ieper' as the destination). The bus ride typically takes around 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Ieper bus station, exit and head towards the town center. Follow the signs towards Menenstraat, and after about a 10-minute walk, you will arrive at the Menin Gate.

    Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Kortrijk. Head towards the main road, following the signs to Ieper. The cycling route is approximately 16 kilometers and takes about an hour. Follow the designated cycling paths, and upon entering Ieper, navigate towards the city center. Once you reach Ieper, follow the signs to Menenstraat. The Menin Gate will be on your left.
