Getting There

Walking
From the center of La Roche-en-Ardenne, head south on Rue de la Roche. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Rue du Cerf. Turn right onto Rue du Cerf and walk until you reach the local bus stop at the end of the street. Board the bus heading to Dinant (check the schedule for the next departure). After approximately 45 minutes, you will arrive at Dinant. From the bus stop in Dinant, walk towards the Meuse River and follow the signs towards the Citadelle de Dinant, which is located at Chem. de la Citadelle 1, about a 20-minute walk uphill.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in La Roche-en-Ardenne. Start on Rue de la Roche heading south, then turn right onto Rue du Cerf. Follow the road until you reach the bike path along the Meuse River, which will take you to Dinant. The ride is approximately 12 kilometers and will take around 1 hour. Once in Dinant, follow signs to the Citadelle de Dinant, which is located at the top of the hill. There are several uphill paths leading to the entrance of the Citadel.

Public Transport
From La Roche-en-Ardenne, make your way to the local bus station located on Avenue du Pont. Take the bus line that connects to Dinant; the journey takes about 45 minutes. Upon arrival at the Dinant bus station, exit and head towards the Meuse River. Follow the riverbank until you reach the main road, then take the uphill path that leads to the Citadelle de Dinant. The Citadel is located at Chem. de la Citadelle 1, which is approximately a 20-minute walk from the bus stop.
