    Getting There

    Train

    Begin your journey at Leuven train station. Purchase a ticket to Namur at the ticket counter or through a vending machine. Board a train heading to Namur; the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Namur station, exit the station and look for signs directing you to the bus stop.

    Bus

    From Namur train station, catch bus number 2 or 3 towards 'Jambes' or 'Sambreville'. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the stop called 'Citadelle'. From the bus stop, follow the signs that lead you to the Citadelle de Namur, which is a short walk uphill.

    Walking

    If you prefer to walk from Namur train station, exit the station and head southeast on Rue de la Station. Continue onto Rue de la Croix and follow it until you reach Rue Merveilleuse. The Citadelle de Namur will be located at Rte Merveilleuse 64, and you will see signs directing you as you get closer. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.

    Taxi

    Alternatively, you can take a taxi directly from Namur train station to the Citadelle de Namur. Taxis are usually available outside the train station. The ride should take around 10 minutes, depending on traffic.
