Start at the Leuven Train Station. Exit the station and head south on Diestsevest towards the city center. Continue straight for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the 'Oude Markt'. From there, turn right on Mechelsestraat, and continue for about 600 meters until you reach the 'Martelarenplein'. Next, take the bus 1 or 4 from 'Martelarenplein' towards Hasselt. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at 'Kuringen Kerk' stop. From the bus stop, walk north for 700 meters along Herkenrodeabdij until you reach Herkenrode Abbey at Herkenrodeabdij 4.
Public Transport
From Leuven's city center, walk to the 'Martelarenplein' bus stop. Take bus 1 or 4 towards Hasselt. The journey will take around 20 minutes. Get off at 'Kuringen Kerk' stop. After disembarking, walk straight for about 700 meters on Herkenrodeabdij to reach Herkenrode Abbey located at Herkenrodeabdij 4.
