Walking
From the Leuven city center, head towards the Leuven train station. Once you reach the station, take a train to Antwerp Central Station. The train journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Antwerp Central Station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop outside. Catch bus number 17 or 18 towards 'Bourlastraat'. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Koningin Astridplein' stop. From there, walk towards Ernest Van Dijckkaai, which is just a 7-minute walk away. Follow the signs towards the river until you reach Ernest Van Dijckkaai 7, where Museum De Reede is located.
Public Transport
Begin your journey at the Leuven train station. Purchase a ticket to Antwerp Central Station. Trains run frequently, so check the schedule for the next available train. Once in Antwerp, you can either walk to Museum De Reede or take a tram. If you choose to walk, exit the train station and head towards the 'Meir', Antwerp's main shopping street, then follow the signs towards the 'Scheldt River'. The museum is located on Ernest Van Dijckkaai, a short distance from the river.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Leuven. Start at the city center and cycle towards the Leuven train station. From the station, take the bike path towards Antwerp, which is about 25 km away. Follow the signs for cycling routes leading to Antwerp. Once you reach the city, make your way towards the river, and head to Ernest Van Dijckkaai. Be sure to lock your bike at designated bike parking near the museum.
