Walking
If you are in the city center of Leuven, start at the Grote Markt, which is a central square. From the Grote Markt, head northwest towards the Naamsestraat. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the Mechelsestraat. Turn left onto Mechelsestraat and continue walking. After about 15 minutes, you will reach the train station in Leuven. Here, you can catch a train to Mechelen. Make sure to buy a ticket to Mechelen before boarding. The train ride will take about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Mechelen train station, exit the station and head towards the main road, which is the Frederik de Merodestraat. Walk straight for about 10 minutes, and the Museum Hof van Busleyden will be on your left at Frederik de Merodestraat 65.
Public Transport
From Leuven, make your way to the train station. You can either walk or take a bus to get there. Once at the train station, buy a ticket to Mechelen. Trains to Mechelen run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes around 15 minutes. Upon arrival at Mechelen train station, exit and turn right onto the main road, which is Frederik de Merodestraat. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the Museum Hof van Busleyden located at Frederik de Merodestraat 65.
