Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Leuven train station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Mechelsesteenweg. Turn right and walk straight for about 400 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Diestsestraat. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer, passing by shops and cafes on your left and right. As you approach the city center, you will see the large square ahead. Walk towards the square (Grote Markt), where you will see Saint Peter's Church located at Grote Markt 1.

    If you are at the Ladeuzeplein, walk towards the university library. From the library, head south down Tiensestraat, which turns into Mechelsestraat. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters until you reach the Grote Markt. As you enter the square, you will find Saint Peter's Church directly in front of you at Grote Markt 1.

    From the M-Museum, exit and head east on Naamsestraat. After about 300 meters, turn left onto the Tiensestraat. Follow this street until it leads you to the Grote Markt, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. Once you reach the square, you will see Saint Peter's Church at the far end, at Grote Markt 1.
