Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Leuven city center, head towards the train station (Leuven Station). Exit the station and find the bus stop for bus number 600 towards Antwerp. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. After about 30 minutes, you will arrive at Antwerp Central Station. From the station, exit and walk towards the main street (De Keyserlei). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Meir. Turn left onto Meir and follow it until you see the Steenplein square. The Lange Wapper Statue is located at Steenplein 1, right in the square.

    Make your way to Leuven Station. Purchase a ticket to Antwerp Central Station. Trains run frequently, approximately every 15-30 minutes, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Antwerp Central Station, exit the station and head towards De Keyserlei street. Continue straight until you reach Meir street, then turn left and walk until you arrive at Steenplein. The Lange Wapper Statue will be in the square at Steenplein 1.

    Head to the nearest bus stop in Leuven and take bus 600 or 620 towards Antwerp. The bus ride will take around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Antwerp, get off at the Steenplein stop. Once you disembark, you will see the Lange Wapper Statue directly in front of you at Steenplein 1.
