Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in Leuven city center, make your way to the main square, Grote Markt. From there, head towards the 'Leuven' train station. As you exit the square, continue straight on Naamsestraat until you reach the station. Once at the station, take the train to Brussels Central Station. The journey takes about 25 minutes. After arriving at Brussels Central Station, exit the station and follow the signs for the metro. Take Line 1 towards Stockel and change at Arts-Loi to Line 5 towards Hermann-Debroux. Get off at the stop called 'Maelbeek'. From the Maelbeek metro station, it's about a 10-minute walk to Pl. du Luxembourg. Exit the station and walk towards Rue de la Loi. Continue until you reach Pl. du Luxembourg on your right.

• Bus

  From Leuven city center, make your way to the bus station located next to the train station. Look for buses heading towards Brussels. You can take bus number 620 or 621, which will take you directly to Brussels. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop 'Bruxelles - Luxembourg'. From there, it's a short walk to Pl. du Luxembourg. Head towards the square, and you will find it just a few blocks away, marked by its distinctive cafes and shops.

• Train

  Start at Leuven train station, which is easily accessible from anywhere in the city. Purchase a ticket to Brussels Central Station. The train ride lasts about 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Brussels Central Station, follow the signs to the metro. Take Line 1 towards Stockel and change trains at Arts-Loi to Line 5 towards Hermann-Debroux. Get off at 'Maelbeek' station. Upon exiting the station, walk towards Rue de la Loi and continue straight to reach Pl. du Luxembourg in around 10 minutes.
