Car
From Leuvense Vaart, head southeast on the main road towards the N1. Merge onto the N1 highway and follow the signs for Mechelen. Take the exit for Mechelen and continue onto Van Benedenlaan. The Brusselpoort will be located at Van Benedenlaan 4, 2800 Mechelen. Please note that parking may incur costs depending on the area.
Public Transportation
Start at the nearest bus stop in Leuvense Vaart and take bus line 2 towards Mechelen. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Mechelen station, transfer to bus line 8 or 9 towards 'Mechelen Van Benedenlaan'. After a short ride, get off at the stop 'Van Benedenlaan'. The Brusselpoort is just a short walk away at Van Benedenlaan 4. Be sure to check the bus schedules for any potential fare costs.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Leuvense Vaart. Follow the bike path towards Mechelen which is approximately a 10km ride. The route will lead you alongside the river, providing a scenic view. Once you reach Mechelen, navigate to Van Benedenlaan where the Brusselpoort is located at number 4. Remember to wear a helmet and follow local cycling regulations.
