After parking, exit the garage and walk towards the Rector de Somerplein where you'll find the Fonske statue.

Public Transportation
To reach Fonske using public transportation, take a train to Leuven Station. From there, you can take bus line 1 or 2 towards 'Kessel-Lo' or 'Heverlee'. Get off at the 'Rector de Somerplein' stop. The statue is just a few steps away from the bus stop. Alternatively, you can walk from the station to the statue, which takes about 15 minutes. Head west on Diestsevest and then turn left on Naamsestraat until you reach Rector de Somerplein.

If you are already in Leuvense Vaart and prefer walking, head towards the city center. Walk along the canal until you reach the intersection with Naamsestraat. From there, turn right and continue walking until you reach Rector de Somerplein. The Fonske statue will be on your left.
