If you're driving, start from any major city in Limburg such as Hasselt or Genk. From Hasselt, take the E313 motorway towards Antwerp. Exit at 30 towards Lummen and follow the N2 road towards Herk-de-Stad. Continue on the N2 until you reach the Pikkeleerstraat. Park Olmenhof will be located at Pikkeleerstraat 22, 3540 Herk-de-Stad. There is usually free parking available nearby.
Train and Bus
For those using public transport, take a train from major stations like Hasselt or Genk to Herk-de-Stad. The train service is frequent, and the journey takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Herk-de-Stad train station, exit and catch bus line 4 towards 'Herk-de-Stad – Kasteel'. Get off at the 'Pikkeleerstraat' stop, which is a short walk from Park Olmenhof. Ensure you check the bus schedule as it may vary on weekends.
Walking from Herk-de-Stad Station
If you prefer walking from Herk-de-Stad train station, it is about a 25-minute walk to Park Olmenhof. Exit the station and head northwest on Stationstraat. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with N2. Turn right onto N2 and continue until you see Pikkeleerstraat on your left. Follow Pikkeleerstraat until you reach Park Olmenhof at number 22.
