Walking
From the center of Louvain-la-Neuve, head towards the main avenue, Avenue des Combattants. Walk straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Rue de la Station. Continue walking until you reach the train station, Louvain-la-Neuve station. Once there, purchase a ticket for Brussels. Take the train towards Brussels Central Station. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at Brussels Central. From there, exit the station and walk towards the metro station, 'De Brouckère'. Take Metro Line 1 towards 'Stockel' and get off at 'Beurs'. Transfer to Metro Line 5 towards 'Erasmus' and get off at 'Heysel'. After exiting the metro, follow the signs to Brussels Expo, which is a short walk away.
Bus
Begin at the Place de l'Université in Louvain-la-Neuve. Catch the bus number 2 heading towards 'Bruxelles - Gare du Midi'. The bus will take you directly to Brussels in about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Gare du Midi, transfer to the metro station inside the train station. Take Metro Line 2 towards 'Simonis' and change at 'Parc' station to Line 1 towards 'Stockel'. Get off at 'Heysel' station. Follow the signs for Brussels Expo, which is nearby and easy to locate.
Train
From Louvain-la-Neuve, walk to the Louvain-la-Neuve train station. Buy a ticket for Brussels Central. Board the train, which will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Brussels Central, exit the train and walk to the nearby metro station 'De Brouckère'. Take Line 1 towards 'Stockel', and then transfer at 'Beurs' to Line 5 towards 'Erasmus'. Get off at 'Heysel' and follow the signs to Brussels Expo, which is just a short walk from the station.
