Local know-how to help you travel smarter and make the most of every moment.
Walking
If you are starting from the city center (e.g., Ladeuzeplein), head south towards the Naamsestraat. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the Mechelsestraat. Turn left onto Mechelsestraat and continue straight. You will pass by various shops and cafés. Keep walking until you reach the end of Mechelsestraat, then turn right onto the Brusselsestraat. Continue for about 500 meters until you see Janseniuspark on your left side, just before the intersection with the Aarschotsesteenweg.
Public Transport
From the Leuven train station, exit and head to the bus station located right outside. Take bus line 2 (direction 'Kessel-Lo') or bus line 3 (direction 'Heverlee') and get off at the 'Janseniuspark' stop. The park is a short walk from the bus stop. Simply cross the street, and you will see the entrance to Janseniuspark directly ahead.
Bicycle
If you have a bicycle, start from the central area of Leuven and head towards the Naamsestraat. Once on Naamsestraat, follow the bike lane straight. After about 1 km, you will reach the intersection with the Brusselsestraat. Turn left onto Brusselsestraat and continue riding for approximately 500 meters. Janseniuspark will be on your right side, just after the intersection with the Aarschotsesteenweg.
