Car
From Luxembourg City, take the A6 motorway towards Arlon. Follow the A6 for about 35 km, then merge onto the A15 towards Charleroi. Continue on the A15 for approximately 45 km and take the exit for Charleroi. Follow the signs to Charleroi and then take Rue du Cazier towards Marcinelle. Bois du Cazier will be located at Rue du Cazier 80, 6001 Charleroi. Parking is available on site, and you may incur parking fees depending on the duration of your visit.
Train
Take a train from Luxembourg City to Charleroi-Sud station. The journey takes approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival at Charleroi-Sud, walk to the Charleroi bus station (around 10 minutes). From there, take bus line 68 towards Montignies-Sur-Sambre and get off at the stop 'Rue du Cazier'. Bois du Cazier is a short walk from the bus stop. Ticket prices for the train vary, so check the SNCB website for current rates.
Bus
From Luxembourg City, you can take a direct bus to Charleroi as an alternative to the train. Check for services provided by Flibco or other operators. Upon arriving at Charleroi, follow the same instructions as the train route: walk to Charleroi-Sud station, then take bus line 68 towards Montignies-Sur-Sambre and disembark at 'Rue du Cazier'. The bus ticket price will depend on the bus company and route selected.
