Getting There
Car
If you're driving from central Luxembourg City, take the A6 motorway towards Brussels. Follow the signs for E44 and then merge onto the E411 towards Namur. After about 140 km, take exit 22 towards Brussels-Centre. Continue on the N23 until you reach the city center. Grand Place is located at Grote Markt, 1000 Brussel. Note that parking in the city center can be expensive, so consider using public parking facilities such as Parking 58 or Interparking Grand Place, both of which charge around €2.50 per hour.
Train
To reach Grand Place by train, head to Luxembourg City Train Station (Gare de Luxembourg). Purchase a ticket to Brussels Central Station (Bruxelles-Central), which takes approximately 3 hours with a direct train. Prices can vary, but expect to pay around €30-€50 for a one-way ticket. Upon arrival at Brussels Central Station, exit the station and walk towards the city center. Grand Place is about a 10-minute walk straight from the station; simply head south on Rue de la Montagne until you reach the square.
Bus
If you prefer to travel by bus, you can take the Flibco shuttle service from Luxembourg City to Brussels, which departs from the main bus station. The journey takes about 3 hours and costs around €20-€25 for a one-way ticket. Upon arrival at Brussels Gare du Midi, transfer to the Metro and take Line 2 (towards Simonis) or Line 6 (towards Roi Baudouin) to the Central Station. From Central Station, it is a short 10-minute walk to Grand Place.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Luxembourg City to Grand Place in Brussels. This will be the most expensive option, costing around €200-€250 and taking approximately 2 hours depending on traffic. Taxis can be booked via local companies or through ride-sharing apps.
