Bus

From Mechelen city center, walk to the bus stop 'Mechelen, Station'. Take bus number 500 towards Brussels. Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes and get off at 'Tervuren, Dodaine'. From the bus stop, walk along the 'Avenue des Combattants' heading towards 'Vlaktedreef'. The Arboretum Tervuren will be on your right after a 10-minute walk.

Walk to Mechelen train station. Take a train to Brussels Central. From Brussels Central, transfer to tram line 44 towards 'Tervuren'. Get off at the stop 'Tervuren, Arboretum', which is right next to the Arboretum Tervuren entrance. The entire journey takes about 50 minutes.
